Book 1: Common Charges

Failing journalist Andy leaves his Greek girlfriend renting in the ugliest part of South London to buy a cut-price apartment at Solomou 30, Exarcheia, Athens. Shortly afterwards a man is murdered in the building entrance. When rich tenant Christos steps in to replace cranky old Mr. Giannakis as the building administrator, promising to reverse years of neglect, it seems like a change for the better to everyone but him. Through Andy's investigations, everyone - foreigner and Greek - will get to know their neighbours at last, but some will wish they hadn't... secrets old and new collide in this story of gentrification, history, family, and a struggle to survive that crosses borders.

Book 2: Last Seen in Athens

A year on from the unmasking - and prompt re-masking - of a double murderer, Solomou 30 is gaining in reputation in certain quarters of Athens as a powerful machine for investigating the sort of problems that can't be taken to the police. Ex-Afghan cop and new dad Reza has become a reluctant landlord, and black money is making everyone's world go round. However, it isn't long before the problems come back home - the young man renting Reza's apartment disappears, and if they don't go looking for him, no-one else will. Shortly afterwards, a hidden camera is discovered in the hallway, and it seems someone knows more about what goes on at Solomou 30 than its inhabitants would like.

Book 3: Clean Monday

Emma's ill-conceived theatre project for refugees unexpectedly gets funding, and ex-cop Reza dutifully joins in, but rehearsals are interrupted by a series of threatening messages left on the stage. Soon, similar messages are appearing under the door of every apartment in Solomou 30. Nobody manages to catch the person responsible, and it almost seems like Christos Kritidis has come back to take revenge. The inhabitants of Solomou 30 preserve their customary omerta, but the Airbnb tourists want their money back, and when one of the funders of the theatre project drops dead and the investors start clamouring for answers, the group must confront Christos' ghost and lay him to rest once and for all.

Book 4: A Most Exclusive Address

Up in the penthouse of Solomou 30, old Mrs. Roussou is looking increasingly frail. Katerina, Maria's mother, is recovering from an operation, and it makes sense for Afroditi and Maryam to look after them together. Then the mysterious Dr. Ioannidou brings another elderly woman to them, apparently abandoned by her family. The two women are grateful for the extra income at first, but after a series of dangerous relapses they are soon sure that someone is trying to kill their new patient. Meanwhile, Andy and Nikoletta are caught up in a never-ending course of IVF, and Nikoletta must confront her own mother about whether blood is really enough to make a family.

Book 5: Full House

Mrs. Roussou, last surviving member of the first generation of inhabitants of Solomou 30, passes away in peace, whilst Reza's son Tzamil is old enough for school. Michalis is preparing for the Greek nationality exam, Andy and Nikoletta are applying for adoption, the common charges are paid up at last, Andreas has taken over the shop, and the future seems settled, when unexpectedly, tourist-sector investors arrive at the building talking as though they had already bought it. Dr. Ioannidou, it seems, will not accept another generation of children growing up there, and circumstances - and Nikoletta's father - are on her side. How far will she go to get what she wants? The question of her legacy must finally be settled, and one way or another, the future of Solomou 30 decided.
